Vector Mount Thumbscrews

These are the optional thumbscrews for Saddle Rider Vector Mount endpin mounts. Swiss-style CNC machining in polished brass, titanium, or aircraft aluminum with an extremely durable hard anodized finish. Designed to last a lifetime, they fit both our 10 mm and 1/2 inch vector mounts for cello or double bass. Easy maintenance: In the unlikely event that an inserted standard M4 threaded rod ever needs replacing, just heat briefly in an oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Swap the rod with a new one and glue for a super-tight bond with a drop of 5-minute epoxy. PLEASE NOTE: These are the thumbscrew handles only. Standard 35 mm M4 threaded rods screw into these and are purchased separately on this website or from other sources. The threaded rods can also be easily be made by cutting 35 mm off the end of a standard M4 steel bolt. File the cut end smooth for easy insertion.
