Threaded Rods for Vector Mounts
Our Vector Mounts are designed to last a lifetime with easy minimal maintenance. These thumbscrew threaded rods are standard M4 threads 35 mm in length. In the unlikely event that they ever need replacing, the rod can easily be removed from the thumbscrew by heating it to 380 degrees Fahrenheit in an oven and unscrewing it (holding gently with a pliers and cloth, of course, so you don’t get burned!) Then, glue in a new rod with a drop of 5-minute epoxy and you’re good to go! (Don’t try that with the stock plastic Elesa brand thumbscrews used by many other makers of “premium” endpins!) Sold in packs of 2.
